Can employees clock in without an internet connection?
Yes. The app stores records locally when there is no internet connection and syncs automatically when the connection is restored. This is especially useful for construction sites, warehouses, and remote field locations.
How does GPS verification prevent time fraud?
When an employee clocks in, the GPS coordinates are recorded and visible on a map. With geofencing enabled, employees can only clock in when physically inside a defined job site zone — making it impossible to clock in from home or a different location.
Does the app prevent buddy punching?
Yes. TimeClock 365 can require a selfie photo at clock-in. The photo is stored and linked to the attendance record, allowing managers to verify identity. Combined with GPS and geofencing, this eliminates virtually all buddy-punching scenarios on mobile.
